Lawful, sold to over-18s only, and supervised by Sikkerhedsstyrelsen — which has used young test purchasers to check age control in physical shops since 1 July 2024. Nicotine pouches fall under the same display prohibition as cigarettes and e-cigarettes, and from 1 April 2026 must be sold in neutral, standardised packaging.

The display prohibition is the binding constraint, not the age limit. Nicotine pouches may not be shown to customers in-store, and the ban extends to images of the products. A glass-fronted machine showing the packs would not comply, so any machine here has to be closed-front and select-by-code. Confirm the position for unattended sale with Sikkerhedsstyrelsen before placing one.
On display

Closed for branded coolers. Nicotine pouches fall under the same display prohibition as cigarettes and e-cigarettes, and it extends to images of the products — so a fixture whose purpose is to show product does not work, however it is branded. This is also why a vending machine here must be closed-front.
